Gordon Ramsay is a famous British chef, food critic, author, and TV personality known as the participant of a large number of TV shows like The Hell Kitchen, Master Chef, and others. Born in 1966 in Scotland, Gordon grew up in Stratford-upon-Avon, alongside his three siblings. In his childhood, Gordon loved football and was very seriously thinking about pursuing the career of a professional football player. However, chased by numerous injuries and traumas, Ramsay gave up the idea of becoming a sportsman in the late teen ages and started getting interested in cooking. He attended college where he studied hotel management and then moved to London to work as a manager and chef of various restaurants. Ramsay particularly studies French cuisine and in the late 1990s, he opened his first restaurant in Chelsea, London. In the early 2000s, he started appearing on TV, first in the miniseries Boiling Point, and then in various programs like Top Gear, etc. In 2004 he began conducting his show Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares, and then became the main character on the epic TV reality show Hell's Kitchen running both on British and American TV. So far he has taken part in over three dozen TV projects and written over two dozen books. Gordon Ramsay is the winner of a large number of awards, with the title of the OBE being the most important of those. He is the owner of over 40 luxury restaurants around the world.
