One of the most talented and influential guitarists of the 1990s - 2000s known for his recognizable image and as the lead guitarist of Guns N' Roses, Slash was born Saul Hudson in 1965 in Humpstead, he spent most of his childhood years in California where his family moved when he was a kid. Both of his parents had to do with art, and Saul has got really great taste in music and other cultural sides of life. He made his first steps in music in the early 1980s when he joined a few metal bands in LA and eventually met Axl Rose. For the first 10 years of working with the band Slash took part in recording 5 studio albums and performing on stage in all their torus. However, in 1995, due to increasing misunderstandings with Axl, he formed his own solo band named Slash's Snakepit which lived for a few years. In the early 2000s he joined another band Velvet Revolver led by the lead vocalist Scott Weiland.
