Lucy Hale is an American actress and musician who rose to fame with the role in a TV series Pretty Little Liars. She was born in 1989 in Memphis and grew up in a family which was extremely supportive to her ambitions to become an actress. Her parents home-schooled their daughter and sent her to a number of the best acting and music classes. Her TV debut took place in 2003 when she took part in American Juniors singing show of FOX channel. In order to increase her chances to start a successful acting career, her family moved to LA and Lucy started taking part in numerous auditions for movies and TV series. In the 2000s she appeared in How I Met Your Mother (as the young Scherbatsky), The O.C., Drake & Josh, Bionic Woman, Wizards of Waverly Place, Privileged, Private Practice, Sorority Wars, and other projects.
