Tim Burton is a visionary American filmmaker, producer, screenwriter, animator, and artist, celebrated for his distinctive approach to adventure, superhero, horror, and fantasy films. Born Timothy Walter Burton in 1958 in California, he showed a passion for painting, drawing, and movies from an early age. After studying character animation at a California university in the early 1980s, Burton began his career, creating the short film Vincent, which marked his first work to reach the big screen.
