Robert Lewandowski is a famous striker and charismatic soccer player from Poland known for his successful career in the national team as well as in some European soccer clubs like FC Barcelona, Borussia Dortmund, and Bayer Munich. He was born in 1988 in Warsaw and made his first steps in the world of professional soccer in the youth team of Partyzant Lescno and some teams in the capital city. In 2006 he became a player of Zincz Pruszcuw and two years later he was transferred to Lech Poznan where he spent two seasons before being bought by Borussia Dortmund. Lewandowski helped the team to win a number of national titles as well as some international trophies. In 2014 he continued as the player of Bayern Munich where he was the top scorer in Germany and in Europe, alongside Cristiano Ronaldo. In 2020 he received an award as The Best FIFA Men's Player, and the UEFA Player of the Year award. He scored over 300 goals in German Bundesliga and has become the second highest goal scorer in the history. He won the title of Bundesliga top scorer for 7 times, and holds a number of a few other records as a player of Bundesliga. Since 2022 Robert Lewandowski has been a player of FC Barcelona. He is a huge fan of tennis, and is married to Anna Lewandowska, a former karateka. The couple has have two daughters.
