How old is Connor McDavid?

Connor McDavid is an ice hockey player from Canada who has been the captain and center of the Edmonton Oilers for many years and is considered to be one of the best and most valuable NHL players. Born in 1997 in Ontario, he was raised in Richmond Hill by his parents who were both huge fans of ice hockey. Together with his elder brother Cameron, Connor began to train when he was a young child and was initially coached by his father Brian. He joined a local youth team when he was only 6 years old, and in the late 2000s he would join teams of much older players, as well as contribute in victories of his teams. In 2011 he became a player of the Toronto Marlboros in the GTHL and next year he received  number of titles including the Best Player of the Year. At the age of 15 he joined the National Junior team and at the age of 18 Connor joined the Erie Otters. Finally, in 2015 he was signed up by the Oilers and has been its player ever since. He became its captain when he was only 19 years old becoming the youngest captain ever in the NHL history. For the moment, Connor McDavid has taken part in the All-Star NHL Games 5 times, and he has won 4 Ted Lindsay Awards, as well as 5 Art Ross Awards. His most valuable skill is considered to be his speed on the rink. McDavid is the second after Wayne Gretzky to win the Hart Trophy as the league's MVP.
