A successful American football player and coach, Danny Amendola is famous as a wide receiver who spent much of his career with the New England Patriots. He was born in 1985 in Texas, where he played college football at Texas Tech and had several standout seasons.

Amendola was a 2008 draft pick of the Dallas Cowboys, but spent most of his rookie season on the practice squad. He was then traded to the Philadelphia Eagles, where he was primarily a backup. He joined the St. Louis Rams in 2009 and his career took off from there, playing three productive seasons despite several injuries. He was signed by the New England Patriots in 2012 and played alongside stars like Tom Brady. He later played for the Miami Dolphins, Detroit Lions and finished his playing career in Houston Texans.
