Minho is a South Korean singer, songwriter, and rapper who has been preforming on stage as a professional entertainer since 2008. Born Choi Min-ho in 1991 in South Korea, he spent his early years in the city of Incheon where he finished school and was initially discovered by some talent scouts. His first public projects included some modeling and commercial ones in which he managed to establish some important connections and friendships. Shortly after he was offered to join a pop boy band Shinee which was about to enter a popular local TV show Inkogayo. For most of the early songs of the group, Minho is credited as the main songwriter. In the early 2010s the group began to release their albums and singles as well as take part in numerous TV shows giving a chance to its members to try themselves as actors as well. Later in the decade Minho appeared in a few cinema moves and TV soap operas like To The Beautiful You, The Most Beautiful Goodbyes or The Poet Warrior Youth. He started his solo career in 2019 while being on a break with the group, and his solo songs immediately became popular among the numerous fans of the group. In 2022, Minho released his first solo EP album tiled Chase.
