An American singer and actor, Kendall Schmidt became famous as part of the TV series Big Time Rush and the boy band of the same name. He was born in 1990 in Kansas and, together with his brother Kevin, began acting in his early childhood. He appeared in several TV commercials and even had a small role in Steven Spielberg's movie A.I. Artificial Intelligence.

In 2001 his family moved to Los Angeles to support the children’s growing interest in acting. Kendall went on to land recurring roles on popular TV shows including Gilmore Girls, Ghost Whisperer, Without a Trace, ER, General Hospital, CSI: Miami and others, gaining wider recognition.

In 2009, he joined Nickelodeon’s musical project Big Time Rush, a series about four young men selected to put together a boy band. They released a number of successful singles and three studio albums before calling it quits in 2014. Kendall Schmidt has become more of a producer since then. He has his own record label called TOLBooth Records. He’s married and became a father in 2024.
