How old is Karim Benzema?

Karim Benzema is an iconic French soccer player and one of the key strikers of the French National Team. He was born in 1987 in Lyon, to the family of Algerian origins, and grew up alongside his two younger brothers who are also professional soccer players now. He has loved soccer since his early childhood, and began demonstrating his amazing skills as a striker when he was only 8. He joined the junior team of Lyon when he was 10 and started his professional career there as a forward in the early 2000s. He played for the main team of Lyon for 5 years and during that time received the title of the Player of the Year, as well as the title of the top scorer of League 1. In 2009 he broke the record in French soccer league by being transferred to Real Madrid for as much as €35 million. It took him some time to find his place alongside such stars as Christiano Ronaldo so he started shining as a successful striker closer to the mid 2010s. Later in the decade, after Ronaldo had left, Benzema became the star forward of the team. Together with Real, he won four La Liga champion titles and five Champion League titles, as well as repeatedly became the best player of La Liga. As a member of the French National Team, Karim Benzema earned about a hundred of cups including his first U17 Championship and ending up with 2022 FIFA Runner Up prize.
