How old is George Harrison?

George Harrison was a British singer, guitarist, songwriter, actor, and producer, who is best known as one of the members of The Beatles. He was born in 1943 and joined the band when he was only 15 years old, remains the youngest member of the band. Together with The Beatles along with Paul McCartney, John Lennon and Ringo Starr, Harrison enjoyed the worldwide popularity and unprecedented attention from the media of all around the world. For the band, he wrote a few songs like "While My Guitar Gently Weeps", "Something", "Here Comes the Sun", and others. In the late 1960s, Harrison started getting interested in Indian culture, and he was the one who brought the Indian culture to the whole rock music of the late decade. After the break-up of the band, Harrison continued his musical career and recorded a number of solo albums, including one with the purpose of supporting poor people in Bangladesh. He was involved in plenty of charity concerts including Live Aid and others. He often collaborated with such musicians as Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton, and in the late 1980s, he joined a band named Traveling Wilburys consisting of only very famous American and British singers Roy Orbison, Tom Petty, Bob Dylan, Jeff Lynne, and Harrison himself. As one of The Beatles, George was a Member of the British Empire and earned plenty of important awards in music. He was married two times and had a son, Dhani. George Harrison died of lung cancer in November 2001, at the age of 58.
