Bob Saget was an actor and a comedian, a TV show host and a director, who rose to fame with one of the lead roles in a famous TV series Full House. He was born in 1956 in Pennsylvania but spent most of his childhood years in California, alongside his parents. He did not plan to become a comedian and wanted to be a doctor, but his school teacher of English pointed on his great abilities in acting, so Saget went to a filming school. In the early 1980s, he started taking part in various TV shows combining that with doing some stand-up comedy shows. In 1987 Saget was invited to join the cast of Full House which ran for 8 successful seasons. In the 1990s, Bob Saget was the host of a popular TV show titled America's Funniest Home Videos. He was also famous as the one who gave voice to future Ted Mosby in the iconic TV series How I Met Your Mother.
