Teddy Swims is an R&B singer and songwriter who has managed to achieve some fame for his interesting personal style which is a mixture of soul, pop, and R&B music. He was born Jaten Collin Dimsdale in 1992 in Georgia and was raised in Conyers. His father was a great fan of American football and good music, so he was the first to introduce Jaten to the world of both sports and R&B. As a teenager he used to play football rather than play music, but in his late secondary school times he happened to attend musical school theater classes which opened a new perspective to him and he figured out the main passion of his life. He started his professional career as a singer in 2019 by releasing his first single "Someone You Loved" which attracted a lot of attention. A bit later his two other singles "Picky" and "My Bad" which found the top lines of some charts. In addition to that, Teddy Swims released a few really great quality covers of the famous songs, and his first solo album came out in 2023, titled I've Tried Everything But Therapy.
