Brie Larson is an actress and a movie director who became famous as a teenager and continued to take part in the movies like the famous Marvel comics based movie series. Born Brianne Sidonie Desaulniers in 1989 in Sacramento, California, she spent her childhood alongside her parents, who were both chiropractors, and her sister Milanie. The girls were homeschooled and Brie was the one who expressed her wish to become an actress when she was 6 explaining that by her love to doing any creative things. Her parents sent her to some acting courses, and soon Brie was invited to join the cast of Jay Leno's TV show. She was lucky to appear in front of the cameras when she was a young teenager in a movie 13 Going On 30 (with Jennifer Garner and Mark Ruffalo). In the early 2000s she appeared in a few movies as a supporting actress, and later on took part in producing such comedies as Scott Pilgrim Vs The World or 21 Jump Street. In the early 2010s Larson started playing the lead roles in the movies including The Spectacular Now or Room, with the performance in the latter bringing her the Academy Award. Later in the decade she appeared in some Marvel comics based movies like Avengers where she portrayed Captain Marvel, or Carol Danvers.
