How old is Boogie?

Boogie, born Anthony Dixson in 1989 in California, is a hip-hop artist known for his powerful lyrics and online presence. He grew up in Compton, raised by his mother, and developed a passion for rap music at a young age. His childhood wasn’t easy, and it became even tougher when his mom sent him to a Catholic boarding school. There, Boogie met kids who were also trying to turn their lives around, and those experiences influenced his music deeply.

After high school, he tried studying engineering in college but soon decided that music was his true calling. He released several mixtapes and EPs, with his breakout song “Oh My” bringing him into the spotlight. His career was also supported by fellow Compton rapper Kendrick Lamar, who encouraged his talent.

As of mid-2025, Boogie continues sharing his freestyle tracks online and connecting with fans worldwide. He is also a proud father to a son he welcomed at age 20.
